The workaround is a custom ODBCUSER.DLL that either uses case-insensitive encoding against a case-insensitive database or tries multiple permutations against a case-sensitive database. The custom DLLs that we have written do not have this issue. Again, though, it really is an issue with the back end, not the front end. Also, IMO, while case-sensitivity would certainly be an additional measure of protection, enforcing password length and complexity is your real battle. -Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
