A possible work-around would be for your user to have multiple email addresses.
His mail is sent to the mail account "USER" which has a number of processing rules sending messages on to other email accounts "USER1" "USER2" "USER3" etc. which forward the mail accordingly (i.e. to his wireless device). Not the perfect solution, but would work.
