It is true that if there is a solution out there that solves a problem it should be suggested as a resolution. However, I do find it disturbing that no IMail folks ever seem to jump on here and say "Hey, you can also do this ()". I am currently evaluating an upgrade path from 5 to 8. 5 has a lot of problems but it has worked for a long time. From what I'm reading though it doesn't look like all that much progress has been made in 4 years and 3 versions. Is there anyone out there willing to say that this mail server is a stable product? I don't understand how anyone could honestly say that if I buy product A which has feature C only works as advertised if you buy product B, for the price of A, which only does C. Perhaps I've missed something extra that declude does, but I don't seem to understand how staying on IMail can be justified if you have to buy something else so that it works as advertised. As far as price goes I don't think there is anyway to tell a vendor how to structure their price plan. If it was too expensive no one would use it. If you think it is too expensive don't use it. If your product only works correctly with the vendor add on then maybe its time to re-evaluate the original product. So, in summary, I would like to know if anyone has a stock IMail solution that does seem to work just fine. One that is stable and handles mail for over 4,000 domains.
I know this is kind of a train of thought email. It doesn't really have a point or a conclusion. I'm just looking for some input on IMail to help be deciede if I should stick with it - which is the whole reason I joined this list.
