Since
it's a slow day...I'll throw this one out there.
What are
your suggestions regarding handling potential spam
messages?
Deleting
them seems a bit drastic.
Forwarding them to root/et.al seems administratively intense.
PS.
I've already
borrowed the phrase list from Imails download site, so I "shouldn't" need to
populate one (per se) via monitoring spamed
messages.
Inserting
X-headers and then using rules to bounce them seems like a good idea because
then valid messages/senders have a chance to correct the problem, but if most of
the messages will be actual spam, then I could just be bouncing messages all
over the world never hitting a valid account causing email servers everywhere to
try/retry/bounce/etc. causing massive systems overload thereby ending
all email as we know it! (Or not :o)
)
Just
wondering what's worked best for the lot of you.
Thanks,
~Amy
