On several occasions now our IMail 7.15 box has basically locked up
overnight. Each service becomes unreachable one by one, and eventually
you can't even ping the box. By the time I get in the next morning
there's a dialog box on the screen saying "Unknown Hard Error". Once
that's closed the screen is basically frozen and I have to hit the
reset button.

The IMail log contains a whole lot of these. There's about 4 hours
worth in the log before it goes silent:

20030610 184025 127.0.0.1 POP3D Session crash occurred

The event log has half a dozen errors from the Srv service, starting a
few minutes after the IMail log goes silent:

"The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool
because the pool was empty."

Any suggestions? The server is a Pentium 4 with an onboard Intel NIC
and Windows 2000 Server. It runs the IMail LDAP, POP3, SMTP, web
messaging and syslog services. I've ordered a 3com 3C905C NIC and I'll
try that when it arrives, but does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks,
Evan
