This just started Monday morning. Prior to the log
events below, all outside domain traffic started
coming only through our secondary MX which is provided
through an ISP. That ISP provide our internet access
and DNS.

Presently I can not send to any outside domains. All
local domain traffic is working (ie I can send to
coworkers). Any attempt to send outside the domain
results in the above events. All outside mail is
coming through the secondary MX only! Nothing has
changed on my end. I can ping from the mail server to
my ISP's DNS, but I cannot ping any addresses beyond
that. I cannot telnet into anyone else's mail server
from my mail server, but I can telnet into the same
remote mail server from my desktop. My desktop is on
the same network, switch and router as the mail
server. I cannot browse the internet with IE from the
mail server, but I can from my desktop. Imail v7.13,
on NT4 SP6, doing NAT. ISP says it's a mail server
config problem. I don't buy it. Could you folks shed
some light on this for me. Thanks in advance for your
responses.
