Hello,
I've been evaluating IMail server v8.0 for small business and I encountered only one problem so far:
I am not able to administer the email server remotely (inside the LAN from another computer.) When I try to connect, I get a popup message called "Warning" that says "Failed to load host data."

I installed Imail server on another computer, so that I will have the capability to remote admin.
What is interesting is that if I try to remote admin this second computer from our email server, I connect without problem.

The specs and story of the email server: Pentium Pro with 128MB ram, 3GB hardisk, NT4 server with SP6a, IIS4, McAfee NetShield, McAfee Webshield v4.5, .
Previously I had Eudora Worldmail server running on this machine, I completely uninstalled it, made sure that all files and registry entries are gone as well.
I talked to support and I was given the advice to completely uninstall Imail, delete registry entries if any, reboot and reinstall it. I did all, the problem is the same.
Has anyone encountered this problem in the past and figured it out what caused it?
If you don't have any idea what causes this, maybe someone could tell me how can you troubleshoot this problem? is there any logfile or tracing capability within Imail that could give me a starting point?
I am wondering if maybe there is some problem with the security settings on the server itself. Because of McAfee, the SMTP port on Imail is not 25 but something else, so that McAfee Webshield can receive all emails from the outside world on port 25. (but I don't think this has anything to do with remote admin capabilities, does it?)

Geza
