It got it by doing a MX query on traders.no

With mail from validation turned on IMail will do a MX Query on the host portion of
the from address
in your case traders.no

MX Rec's for traders.no

traders.no.
    10, pop3.bragd.no.
traders.no.
    20, mail5.traders.no.

I'm not getting the same IP address for POP3.BRAGD.NO that is listed in your logs.

IMail AntiSpam Checks use the same DNS Server(s) as SMTPd does
(Localhost\Services\SMTP\)
Double check the name servers listed there

Hope this helps

Where do the mail server get the IP address, in this case 62.97.203.56 ?
This
is one in our C-class and it's not in use anywhere on our network.
All DNS zone files are checked and this IP is not listed anywhere.

07:14 09:22 SMTPD(001C0066) [00001612] <pop3.bragd.no> VALIDATION: (MAIL
FROM) pop3.bragd.no FAILED to connect to 62.97.203.56
