Last time I saw that error message was from a List Server when someone
subscribed and the subscrib.txt file was empty (actually, it might not
exist, until you click the Subscribe button, and will be empty, unless
you enter some text).

If it truly caused by a particular email client when there is no
actual body, then it is pretty likely that client is doing something
wrong. Is it the client a recent version? Is it the most recent
version? Maybe it has been fixed??

That covers the last part of the error message. The first part means
that the file (whatever was needed) is likely corrupted or a mailbox
index file is not good (if it happens when attempting to read email).
