I've been a loyal iMail customer since about '96 or '97 and have upgraded to EVERY release except 7.0 to 7.1. Each time the upgrade has gone fine, and I've experienced no problems. This time it's a nightmare.
Before the upgrade, all was fine and dandy. Upgraded to iMail 8.01 and KWM4 now iMap peggs the CPU for 5-10 mins when ever it's accessed iWebMail seems to be pegging the CPU as well. these are only TWO of the problems I've encountered so far. Here are other problems: My personal account has a very large mailbox, and many, many mailboxes. For some reason, iMail started bouncing mail to me, saying that my mailbox was over it's exceeded message count (allthough I have it mared as ZERO, which SHOULD be unlimited). Odd thing is, it only bounces mail sent to a list that I'm administrator of, and bounces mail sent to the "WEEKLY" folder that's used for digests. I never recive the mail in my main account either tho. iMail Administrator. - hangs when I attempt to open accounts with large numbers of mailboxes. Total hang, I can wait for an hour and no-go. KWM interface displays "welcome to KillerWebMail" at the bottom of the logon screens, even if the news and welcome files are empty. Hello?!?!? The reason I pay for KWM templates is to be able to customize them to make them look like my own without someone elses branding on them. I've de-fragged the hard drive. Doesn't help. It's running on a 1.1ghz machine that USED TO not even break a sweat, now it's getting CPU pegging all the time.
