The IMail client is not designed to be a POP3 gateway. It's an administrative tool that allows native access to accounts for migration and/or pruning. You cannot automatically poll an external POP3 account using IMail tools alone. There are some redirectors out there (use Google) that could run from the system tray and coalesce outside accounts into IMail.
