Has anyone seen any increases in cpu when migrating to version 8 from 7.15? I'm interested in how much cpu the rdns lookups take. I'm running dual 866's and these are kind of old so my server cant take a whole lot. thanks
A reverse DNS lookup should take extremely little CPU time. The main effect of a reverse DNS lookup is that it delays the delivery of the E-mail slightly (but this can be reduced by running DNS lookups in parallel, so that the delivery delay is equal to the longest delay, rather than the total of all delays).
