You do not want to trust 127.0.0.1 if that is the IP address that IMail will see as the connecting IP for e-mail from the Internet. If you have another SMTP daemon receiving on port 25 and forwarding to 127.0.0.1:26, for example, IMail will see 127.0.0.1 as the source of all e-mails (likewise for any a.b.c.d that is actually forwarding all outside mail to IMail). If you have an isolated application running on the mailserver that simply sends using IMail on 127.0.0.1:25, it would be safe to trust that IP--as no users should/would have access to that application. But why are you sure that such notifications would be flagged as bad if you didn't whitelist? -Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
