we are using imail 8.02
and today i found a funny "loop problem"

a customer was using following configuration on his mailaccount :

a forward-rule was set on :

[EMAIL PROTECTED]  -> [EMAIL PROTECTED]

the user "unknown" does'n exist

so imail moved the mail to the alias ->

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

which means it was sended back to ->

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

and now , the mail runs arround in circle root-postmaster-root-postmaster ......

80000 smtp errors in 5 hours !!!
till i deleted the forward rule

is their any way to set an option that user can't forward the root account to an not
existing account ?
or is their a other way to solve problems like this

regards
