[IMail Forum] return receipt from blank sender

I received an email from a user that the return receipts that are being sent to someone that is requesting them are coming back from a blank sender. He is hesitant to open a message that he is not sure who the sender is. I don't see anything to change in iMail. I also searched the knowledge base and past posting. I only got a message explain what the return receipt stuff was in the log.
 
I did a test with another user and that return receipt came back to me with her name in it. I am guessing the problem is on my users end, but I don't know where.
 
Any suggestions.
