I did not see the slip up. They were never going to 'stop production'. Outlook Express, probably with a different name, is an integral part of Longhorn. Where they are not going to spend lots of effort is in producing new version of OE for legacy operating systems. ie. No Outlook Express 7 for Windows Me. We asked the program manager responsible for OE directly.
