hi ug we have a standard rules.ima file for our customers with filtering rules for viruses and attachements, worms, etc.
we copy them to all domain subdirectories (dos batchfile) problem: if somebody has its own domain rules defined, they will be overwritten. have you got any idea, how to copy "standard ISP rules" to domains, without overwrite the user defined once? we where looking for a tool where we could "append" a own rule line in rule.ima file. we have found such tolls, but none of them support this feature on several files within different directories. i proposed to ipswitch to allow several rule files in domain or user folders in format like rule1.ima, rule2.ima, rule3.ima thhose files would be proceeded in order of the add. number in file name have you got any idea how to solve this task? any tools found for this? have fun mike schwarz To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
