Is there an easy way to detect how many messages are in a user's folders? Here is what I'd like to do:
We currently use the IMail SPAM filering to sort suspected SPAM into a SPAM folder for each user. All our users download with Outlook Express, so they never see the SPAM folder unless they login to the Webmail. We run a batch file every night that detects if the user's mailbox is over 20M in size, and send them an automatic email if they are over limit so they can correct it. I would like for my system to be able to detect how many messages are in their SPAM folder, and include that in the automatic message. I can handle getting the information into the automatic email, I just need to know how to extract the count. Is that easily doable using standard IMail tools or some easy extra utility? Thanks!
