I'm not sure what you mean about the first item, so I can't comment. Concerning the spell checker, I have never had a complaint from any clients. It would probably be difficult to replace it as it is wired into the interface. I have never heard any other admin complain about it either, so I really doubt anyone has gone to the trouble to create a replacement. With the templates, one of the great things about them is that they don't refresh the entire screen everytime you click on something. This kind of functionality requires Java, so I doubt that it will ever be ported.
