I can't post the logs easily since our security policy prevents using email clients on servers, but Len you are right I suppose.
How about TS or pcA to the server, edit the log file, and paste into a local email client?

This isn't IMail, Joe, it's SMTP protocol and message formats.
Good SMTP background books, more readable than the (irreplaceable) RFCs:

Programmer's Guide to Internet Mail
Internet e-mail: Protocols, Standards, and Implementation
Don't reject because of the "program" part, they explain the SMTP protocol and message formats before getting into the coding. The reviewers' "complaint" about last one is its Win32 bias, so you should feel at home. :)
