Changing  the  Q  file  will change the (usually recipient-unreadable)
Return-Path  of  your  outgoing  messages, but unless you change the D
file,  which  is what the recipient's MUA will receive, such fields as
From: and Reply-To: will contain all the old information.

In  either case, I would NOT recommend trying to do this at the server
due  to  processing  overhead (and a basic lost-cause feel). Why can't
you change the users' MUAs to originate messages using the right info?
If  you  can't  change them all automatically, at least you can bounce
their  messages back to them if you detect the old domain (using IMail
Rules/Info Manager) until they get it right.
