Does anyone have a solution to the following problem?

I have a user who uses Outlook 2000 that sends mail to a Outlook 97 client who receives the mail with an ATTxxxxx.txt attachment and no body of the text.  I'm thinking that since Outlook 2000 can send in different formats and Outlook 97 can only send and receive rich text and plain text that that is where my problem lies.  I have sent in both rich text and plain text and I still get the attachment.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as my users are annoyed by this.

Sorry if this topic has been discussed but I have not found anything in the archives or I am just not searching for the right topic.
