There is an issue that effects 2k3 and causes IAdmin to display the domains
very slowly. There is a temporary work around:

The workaround is to add a string value to your registry. Go to regedit,
HKLM/software/ipswitch/imail/domains. Create a string
value here called Address, but don't assign any value to it.

Forgot one thing here

after setting this server in production

It takes sometime for the IAdmin interface to start showing the domains

Dont run 8.03 but 7.13 and that have caused some problems

We are running this on a 4 way Intel Xeon 1.4 ghx MP with 4 gb ram and256 mb
on the raid controller.
We have around 5000 domain on the server and around 60k of users. First it
was an issue with the registry Ipswicth fixed this with a
workaround, but after going live with it last night I must say that I'm
disapointed how slow its running.

It's only using around 15 % of cpu power but still i get read timeout in the
logs on the gateway like this
36E9233AEC 1859 Sun Nov 2 07:52:06 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
                   (connect to 213.236.237.140[213.236.237.140]: read
timeout)
                                         [EMAIL PROTECTED]

and i have a lot of mail in the queue from the stop when I changed the
server even now after 6 hours.

And receiving mail form the server is a pain in the but sitting on a 1 mbit
line it takes 15 minutes to get 900 mail
the server is on a 10 mbit. Neotwork load on the server are right now 0,12
%, It just looks like its standig there doing nothing.

We upgraded form a dual xeon 2,8 with 1 gb ram on w2k and there it was using
a lot of cpu therefore we wanted to upgrade but right
now it looks like we have gone from bad to hell.

So if anyone have any good suggestions on how to boost more power in this I
would be thankfull.

Benny
