John, To be fair to Len and the comments I have made about his attitude... I must say that your comment was rather kurt!
If we batter those that ask simple questions, then they will stop asking them and ultimately become part of our collective problem (running poor mail servers, spreading virus', spreading spam, etc). I personally would like every newbie to ask this question and get the correct info, instead of blindly not realizing they are an open relay! If the answer is in the archives, then a simple response to check the archives first should be sufficient embarrassment for most people the first time.
