Does anyone know how web messaging changes the "Seen" status of a message that has been read? I am using a 3rd party component to check a mailbox to see if there are any recent messages (its an IMAP client basically). It works except when you check messages in web messaging the status of the message doesn't get changed so it basically just counts how many messages are on the server. Any one have any ideas or experience in doing something like this? I just want my users to know whether or not they need to log in to web messaging to read new messages if they exist.
