In my log, here's the transaction:
SMTPD (034A00AC) [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] connect 64.136.22.65 port 37906
SMTPD (034A00AC) [64.136.22.65] HELO m2.nyc.untd.com
SMTPD (034A00AC) [64.136.22.65] unacceptable mail address in MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
There's about a 95% chance that "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" (or a variation, such as just "juno.com") is in your IMail SMTP Kill File.
The other 5% would be an actual problem with the "MAIL FROM:" line. But since you munged it, it isn't possible to say for certain.
Neither the specific email address nor "juno.com" by itself is in my kill.lst file.
Please double-check this. Once that is done, triple-check it. It's almost certainly the problem.
Is this being cut out by IMail's default "URL Domain Name Blacklist"?
No. IMail v8's anti-spam doesn't kick in until after the E-mail is received (Declude JunkMail is the same, too).
I do not see any "plain-english" juno.com, so if it's in there how do I decipher it?
You don't need to worry about deciphering, as the only place to check here is the IMail SMTP Kill File.
This is happening with EVERY Juno user trying to send email to us ... not that I'm really all that upset that Juno is being blocked. :)
I'm guessing "juno.com" appears in the Kill File.
