No choice - I just upgraded to v8 (from v6), partly because of the screen offset problem which made it very awkward to administer.

Cute. Let's see...since KB824141 just came out on 10/29/2003, I'd say I have waited long enough to install it (i.e. standard wait time for others to blow up). Maybe your confused. I am not talking about Q328310. If I were just getting around to installing THAT, I would be an idiot. And, of course there is no reference to this new problem in Ipswitch's KB. I was trying to be helpful to others who might not catch this one so quick (and I bet I'm not the only one still running v6 of Imail). Not by choice, by the choice of others. I do what I can do. And you are just finding this now? It's been a known problem and documented since the hotfix came out - some 9+ months ago. Ipswitch did go back and created a fix for 7.0x and 7.1x with 7.07 hotfix 3 and 7.15 hotfix 3. You shouldn't expect them to go back to the 6.x and create a fix at this point. BTW, there is a vulnerability in Windows for something called Blaster you might want to think about patching prior to next Spring. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Stanley Lyzak Sent: Monday, November 10, 2003 10:37 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] Another Screen Offset problem like Q328310 in IMAIL 6.x!!!!! Anyone else having the same screen offset problem in IMAIL 6.x after applying the Microsoft KB824141 hotfix on Windows 2000 Server sp3? If you haven't applied it yet, beware. I applied a few hotfixes at once, and then saw the results. Ugh. I rolled them back one by one until I found the bugger. I then went to another IMAIL server that also had all the newest hotfixes applied, and just rolled back KB824141 >bingo: it came back to normal. I guess holding on to 6.x is going to start getting harder. Hope this helps. :) Stan Lyzak, BSEE, CISSP, MCSE, CCNA, Security+, A+ Network Security Engineer To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus] --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude Virus] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
