You can train the statistical filter by taking messages that you consider spam or
non-spam and place them in a mailbox

You can then use the antispamseeder.exe utility to read the messages in that mailbox
and it will update the word list

See
http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/guide/imailug801/Chapter18%20AntiSpam10.html, it
describes how to use this utility

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] How can I alter antispam word weight?

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the advice.

I'm using the supplied Imail statistical filtering list. The most
recent one. I fixed these problems with the last version (June) I was
using, by deleting the words from the list. Was looking for a cleaner
solution.

I'm almost afraid to ask this: Is there a way to train the Imail system
myself? The current system catches a lot of spam, but as you point out
it uses a blunderbuss to do it. As a small ISP, I need something a bit
less haphazard for a general client base.
