I’ve actually hit that recently with 8.04 of I-Mail Express.  I didn’t pay attention to the server for a week cos well, IMail just kicks arse like that… But anyhow, I checked the spool and there were about 3000 files in there.  I cleared them out as they all seemed to be piled up NDR’s from spammers.  Didn’t bog the server at all. This seemed unnecessary as all the domains have their own root account with bulk mbx’s. I deleted this directory and disabled the webshield blocking on the domain name. so far no reoccurance of these dreaded mails after 30 mins. Lets hope the spool queue is as clear on Monday. Lets also hope I haven’t deleted anything important…. I put a block on the E500 for the domain, but they still kept appearing. Only after I put the domain on the webshield (runs on the mail server as port 25) did the messages stop. This implies to me that the messages are originating from inside my network. Upon looking at the mail logs on the webshield, it states the originating ip address is 127.0.0.1   Can anyone point me in the direction of where this is steming from. (I know I;ve stopped it, I just need to know)   Thanks
