My office iMail server pretty much only serves myself and a couple of mailboxes for spam management. It's a slow machine, about 300 MHz - but has enough horsepower.
When I bring up Web Messaging (KWM), and occasionally attempt to "Delete All" of the couple of thousand messages that are in my spam-catch mailbox account, it takes a LONG time and slows down mail retrieval dramatically on my only POP account (during the deletion process). Shouldn't the code for this action be re-written to simply rename the inbox file for that user and then delete it? It appears, instead, that, the messages are being deleted individually, a major resource hog for the mail server. My usual workaround is go directly to the mail server and delete the file - but that's not viable when an individual user wants to delete all messages.
