All outside domains or just a few? My "Exchange" is a bit rusty...(last I saw was 5.5) but this site was always helpful when I needed it. http://www.slipstick.com/index.htm
I'm posting it to the group because it's a valuable Outlook resource as well. ~Amy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Troy Hilton Sent: Thursday, December 04, 2003 10:57 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ipswitch. com (E-mail) Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: Undeliverable errors with Exchange Calling all Exchange Admins!!! I need some help with a problem I've been having with our Exchange 2003 server. We've been getting "undeliverable" errors for various reasons when emailing outside domains. Part of the mystery is that the email addresses we're sending to are valid addresses that we can email fine thru hotmail, yahoo and even IMail. Our domain is sofmail.com. Here are some sample errors: ***************************** From: System Administrator Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2003 10:20 AM To: Michael Burton Subject: Undeliverable: RE: friday Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. Relaying denied> ******************* For the first email I've verified that hte domain name IS valid, thanks to the dnsstuff.com site. As for the other emails, these are known working email addresses. So why am I getting replies of "no such addess" and "the email does not exist" and "relaying denied"? I'm at a loss for answers here. If anyone can shed some light on this please contact me off list. Thanks!
