Actually, I could dump it to the linux box beside me and use grep <grin>.
I have it chunked down small enough (about 14Meg) that I have it loaded in NoteTab on the WinBox and can use regular search in there without too much performance hit. I was sort of hoping someone had written a tool that would take an argument (like domain name) and find all related items by determining the queue file name etc automatically since the ID number changes from the time the message is initially injected by a user (SMTPD messages) and the message is queued for delivery to the remote domain (SMTP- messages). The "deliver to" domain name is not on every line dealing with the message so that's useless as a search term. I want the initial SMTPD messages as well as the SMTP- messages after the message is spooled for delivery to the remote domain. Looks like I'll ave to do it by hand. <sigh> G On Fri, 12 Dec 2003 12:25:16 -0600 John Dobbin said something about RE: [IMail Forum] Log tool: > Download the unix utils for windows and use grep.
