I'm  assuming  it's  a inside private address vs. outside public address
that you're complaining about.

The  best  solution  is to configure your DNS server with multiple views
(if  it has that capability) or run two DNS servers, one in your DMZ for
resolving  queries  from  the  outside  and another inside for resolving
inside queries.
