I hit the same problem but it seems to have resolved itself. Looked connected to DNS so I cleared the DNS cache in Imail Administrator too. Not sure if that contributed to a fix as the IP addys of the SMTP servers it was connecting to were valid...
I'm going to wait and see what happens.
