I say
create a new account to run those processes, once you've moved them over (it'll
be a pain in the ass, trust me, i know from first hand experience) change
the Administrator password. I inherited a total mess when I got this job,
and one of the first things I did was remove as much dependance on the
Administrator account as possible. It pays off. That and you don't
have to worry about Admins down the road cursing the day you were born
either. :)

I am looking for some sort of password software that will seek out and reset all passwords on a particular account.
We have gone to a strong password format on our domain. I would really like to change the administrator password, however, we have many many processes that use this account ( not my doing, I inherited this).
I am unsure if they even make software like this, but, ideally, I'd like to find something that will locate all the instances that the admin credentials have been used and change them, or at least point them out to me.
