Immsgexp.exe is a utility that deletes messages older than a specified number of days.

Basic Command Syntax
immsgexp -t startdirectory -d #of_days_to_save
Any mailbox found beneath startdirectory will be scanned and any message older than #of_days_to_save will be deleted. A log of exYYMMDD.log (or exYYMMDD.### if .log already exists) will be created and log which directories/mailboxes were scanned, how many messages were deleted, and the amount of disk space saved (by file and directory).

Example
immsgexp -tc:\imail -d60

Command Option Function -t The directory that contains the mailboxes from which messages will be deleted. -d The number of days that a message will remain on the server before it is deleted. -m The name of the mailbox from which messages will be deleted.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Clearing old e-mails

Does anyone know of an app or util which will clear predetermined mail boxes of old mail over a cetain age. I have been setting up declude and i would like all user mail which is seen to be spam to be put in there spam directory in the inbox. However i would like the messages to be deleted after they have reached a certain ammount of days old. I was told by declude that they think ipswitch have a util for this purpose. Thanks
