Based on Joel's suggestion I "decreased" the attachment limit to 0.
You think a browser or form handler has a limit? I'm a web developer - not heard of it - nor have I made apps that have that large an attachment! WIll ask him to try in the am and advise ... thanks both of you ... I don't remember what it is but think it's something like 10mb. Have the user setup a mail client and send his file that way. This is a limitation of the post method I believe, I did some research but couldn't find anything on it, I just remember having the same issue with a custom app I wrote. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Dew Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 4:59 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] Maximum limit exceeded for attachment We have a client who is trying to send a 12meg attachment using Web messaging. We have imposed NO limits on their virtual host. He appropirately composes the message, then browses to find the zipped file. When asking to Imail to "attach" he gets an error message back saying "Maximum limit exceeded for attachment. File cannot be attached." Like I said we've imposed no limits and there's gigs of room on the server. Can someone assist? Thanks, Robert Dew Web Agency, Inc.
