I thought about using the outbound rules but my concern was what if that number of email addresses I want to block mail to grows to 10000 or 25000? What affect will it have on the Imail server to have to scan every outgoing email against a list of 25000 email addresses and then delete or forward any email that matches? We send most of our association mail out through our email marketing partners and in doing so we will get requests from some of our members not to receive further mailings. This works fine for the mailings that go our through the email marketing interface but the association wants to make sure that even mail sent out from the office does not inadvertently reach these members.
