I believe all you need to do here is in norton ce disable real time scanning
on the imail box for the imail and temp directories.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Anti-Virus Options

We have Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition on our network, and I was
wondering if there's a way to allow it to work with Imail instead of
purchasing the Anti-Virus add-on (that would essentially cost us what we
already paid for the corporate licensing, doubling our total cost for
anti-virus).

I'm asking here if anyone has had a similar need to integrate their
existing Anti-virus software with Imail and how they addressed it - this
is not asking for Symantec Anti-Virus expertise (since this is not the
forum for such a question).
