4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2, 4.2.2.3
are top level domain servers

So, If i were to go in and create A records
ns1.mydomain.com 4.2.2.1
ns2.mydomain.com 4.2.2.2
ns3.mydomain.com 4.2.2.3

Then go to my registrar and change my dns nameservers to
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydoman.com
ns3.mydomain.com

Then add those to my nameservers, would it work??

Queries for your zones would be referred to your NSs, which would resolve to the IPs of the TLDs, which aren't authoritative for your zone, so how would they answer queries?

When the TLD NSs get a query for your zone, they will respond with a referral to you NSs, not with answers.
