Websites  !=  mail  domains.  You  need  to  get  a  grip on your mail
requirements.

Are  you  talking  about  using  IMail  as an SMTP gateway for CGI- or
ASP-based pages?

IIS  and IMail will always be separate.

If  you mean "Should I be using each server's MS SMTP (part of IIS) to
send  mail directly from each server?"--this will be preferable if the
web  servers  will be generating more aggregate traffic than the IMail
server can handle, but it requires that each web server be architected
and  maintained  using  mailserver  best practices, which would not be
necessary if you used IMail as the outbound gateway.

Pleae  provide  an extended description of what you actually are doing
that is relevant to mail.
