Many things you'd do to a message can make sigs invalid--at least in
part by design. You'd know best whether your SA install is set to make
message modifications.
Testing outside of the anti-spam stream (i.e. not through SA) is going
to be the best way to determine whether the basic security "handshake"
is working in the first place (i.e. all keys are in order).
