Set up several virtual domains. All was good.
Had clients getting their mail by putting [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the UserID field of their clients.
Had my server as the incoming server for Pop3.
All this worked for all of our accounts til sometime today.
Now, the ONLY way to get mail by doing [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the USERID field is with the web messaging
interface. Using any client (Eudora, Outlook Express, etc) the ONLY way that it works (AND ONLY FOR SOME ACCOUNTS)
is to go back to the default userID like "joeuser" without the @whatever.com
But that is not good because we have more than one domain that has info@ and so trying it this way would cause a clash.
AND some of the accounts no matter what we configure in Eudora or Outlook still get denied for invalid password - but they too
can access their mail from web messaging.
