Great great advice, but unfortunately we're not really in the position to be able to do so. Right from the start I recommend our local clients go with Frontier DSL instead of RR, and most of my clients are already using some other provider besides RR. For that, I am thankful. In our area, RR has been simply awful... terrible performance, terrible tech support, terrible reliability. I wish I DID have some leverage as you discuss... that would have solved the problem quite some time ago. Our final solution was to relay mail through a third party SMTP server in a non-blocked range... and this has worked splendidly so far (thank you to Scott Heath for the assistance!).
Aaron Clausen, if you need a fast-working solution, contact Scott Heath [EMAIL PROTECTED] to set up a mail relay configuration from your server through one of his. We've had excellent results, and his servers seem to run with excellent uptime for this need... and we have been able to get our datacenter to offer credit for the additional monthly expense because some of the blacklisting we experienced in the past WAS in large part their fault. They continue to remedy the SPAM problem on their network, but in the case of RoadRunner, no amount of diligence seems to help. > -----Original Message----- > From: Jeffery Rehm [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Sunday, February 22, 2004 11:41 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [spam level 10] Re: [IMail Forum] [Sorta OT] RoadRunner > Blocking Us! > > > Road Runner can indeed unblock, when it behooves them to do > so.
