The MX record for the customer was changed last week from pointing to the
customers mail server to pointing to the ISP's mail server so the ISP could
queue the email. My customer is changing from a static IP to this new ISP
with dynamic IP to save $100 a month. The customer is then using PopBeamer
to pull the mail from the catch-all mailbox at the ISP and direct it to the
internal Imail server. PopBeamer and Imail are on the same server at my
customers site. I have no clue what the ISP is running for a mail server,
nor does that matter in this scenario.

So you aren't running IMail (or if so, it doesn't matter in this scenario), just your customer is. I'm starting to understand. :)

So in this case, it sounds like the two main options would include [1] using anti-spam software on the ISP's mailserver, [2] using anti-spam software on IMail that can handle multiple hops, or [3] using client-side anti-spam software.
