Isn't this just a standard challenge/response technique?  I thought this is meant to avoid spam not viruses.  If I get on the "allowed list", get infected, and send an infected email as myself(I know, most spoof senders) then it would be allowed right?  Perhaps he  would be more likely to open it as it came from his good buddy.  Perhaps everyone I coorespond with also cooresponds with this person, therefore every email I send to him has someone listed as sender who is on his allowed list.   ??   Douglas Traylor MIS Department Harbison-Fischer Mfg Co.
