Test passed! But was this a real ".J" virus, dynamic not static?

It's not J:


Virus: WORM_BAGLE.GEN-1

That's the name for one that was originally (incorrectly) named .J, but really appears to be .F (which AV programs can detect).


You need to try the eicardynamicencodedzip file from the Test Virus Sender at http://www.declude.com/tools to see if dynamic versions are getting caught.
