Hi All,

I have had a couple of issues with "Search Results" since version 4.x.

Using the stock templates, I perform a web mail search that encompasses all
mail folders. The result set contains messages from multiple mail folders.
Assume the first three messages are from one mail folder and the remainder
of the result set is from one or more other folders.

Click on the first message in the result set. Note that the mail folder name
is the mail folder in which the message resides, not a virtual "Search
Results" mail folder.

ISSUE #1:
The first message in the result set is msg 4 of 5 in the mail folder.
Message 2 in the result set is msg 2 of 5 and Message 3 of the result set is
msg 3 of 5. So, if you click Next, you get the next message in the mail
folder order, not the next message in the result set. Obviously, it is
following the message order in the mail folder, not the result set. Now to
view the second message, you have to go back to search, then use the last
search results.

The only solution I see for this issue is to open a new window instead of
re-using the same window when someone clicks on a message in the result set.
I suppose I could figure out some way to hide the Next and Previous buttons.

ISSUE #2:
If the result set contains more entries than the "Number of messages per
page" in preferences, it does not honor that limit.

Ipswitch creates a "SearchResults.srt" for the result set. You would think
they could manage this with a virtual "Search Results" mail folder. SIGH....

Mike
