This is sorta off topic, maybe not, but this got me thinking... as a manner of etiquette is there a proper way to stop autoresponses, say as a vacation message, from going back to a list? Or do most list owners just put in a filter for "autoresponse" in the subject line and just delete those messages?
Was just curious as to what would happen if there was a fight between a list server and someone who had an autoresponse on their email address that wasn't a one-shot vacation message; if there would be a battle between mail servers. Or if there is a particular vacation setting for "only these folders".
