How should the reverse lookup appear in Microsoft DNS, for the address range 10.0.0.* (subnet mask 255.255.255.0) ? Do I need to add just the zone, or do I need to add additional information to the zone?
Forward and reverse zones, in fact the entire DNs namespace, at all levels, works exactly the same everywhere.
In the DNS used by Imail, set up a zone:
0.0.10.in-addr.arpa.
and in that zone setup the PTR records for, at least, all the IPs in that zone that will be sending to Imail.
